Can You Hear Them?

Can you hear the happy bees?   They are busy buzzing on the flowers of our Majestic Beauty tree.  We have been listening to them  and enjoying their music for several weeks now . . the lavender, the roses, the euphorbia, lemon and lime blossoms have all been visited by these wonderful creatures.

Bianca's At It Again

Come to my window . . . .

Bianca was in a trance . . . a pigeon on our neighbor's roof.  If you have a cat, you know they talk to birds.  It's like a cooing - trying to lure the birds closer.

Now that the weather is warmer, I'm sure we'll have more bird watching sessions.

Butternut Squash Curry Pic

Butternut Squash Curry

Our friend, Tikva, invited us again for Indian food.  I made the Butternut Squash Curry from the Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Catalog again - and this time I remembered to take a picture.  See earlier posts for the recipe.

So here is what it looks like.  This pic is was taken before I  added  the coconut milk to it and simmered it to thicken.  Still you get the idea.

And like before,  Tikva's cooking was devine and she kept the butternut squash curry leftovers.

Here is the information and application for Cowboy Trail Farm CSA programs for the different seasons.  Please review them and contact Marilyn Yamamoto @ organicedibles@gmail.com with any questions.

Marilyn and I had an informal meeting at her farm on Tuesday and she is growing  great greens - tatsoi, mizuna, arugula, Japanese turnips - that are so yummy fresh, beet greens, purple top turnips, red Russina Kale, and more.. She is also harvesting Italian parsley and fresh sage

We are looking forward to a great year with lots of different and unusual veggies.  We hope that you will become a share holder our CSA.
